In the STIHL Service Kit 7 for MS 170 (not 2-Mix) (machine number > 502696762; > 806742307) and MS 180 (not 2-Mix) (machine number > 507033949; > 808412503) you will receive the following components for standard maintenance:

• Fleece air filter
• spark plug
• Fuel filter

The STIHL fleece filter offers good filter quality under different operating conditions. Coarse dirt particles are caught on the surface, while fine dirt particles are retained inside the filter. This reliably protects the chainsaw engine from the ingress of abrasive dust. Performance is maintained, consumption is low and you can continue to start your machine as easily as usual.

To maintain performance, replacing the spark plug regularly is also recommended. This is the basis for clean combustion in the engine. The fuel filter keeps the fuel free of foreign particles before it enters the engine. This protects the engine and ensures improved longevity. To replace the air filter and spark plug, it is best to use the practical combination wrench that you received with your STIHL chainsaw. A cardboard hook is integrated into the service kit packaging itself. This allows you to remove and replace the fuel filter easily. You do not need any additional tools .
