Stihl Service Kit (MS500i)

For the life of you STIHL petrol chainsaw you can extend it yourself by regularly putting a service kt on your tool. Regular routine maintenance, such as replacing the air and fuel filters and changing the spark plug, is usually quick and helps the extend engine life. This contributes to the prevention of dirt and damage to the components and parts and you ensure that your chainsaw always works reliably and optimally.

The STIHL Service for the Stihl MS 500i contains the following elements for a standard maintenance:

• HD2 air filter
• Spark plug
• Fuel filter

The HD2 air filter is suitable for all operating conditions and can therefore be used universally. With its fine pores, it offers excellent filter quality and filters even the finest dust from the intake air . By replacing the HD2 filter, you effectively protect your chainsaw's engine against the ingress of abrasive dust. Performance is maintained, fuel consumption is low and you can start your machine with the usual ease.

The fuel filter helps prevent foreign particles from entering the engine through the fuel. Regular replacement of this part helps to protect the engine and thus also extends the life of your machine. We also recommend maintaining performance replace the spark plug regularly for a cleaner combustion in the engine for a long time.

To replace the air filter and the spark plug, it is best to use the convenient combi key supplied with your STIHL chainsaw. A cardboard hook is also included in the Service Kit package. This allows you to remove and replace the fuel filter. You have no additional tools necessary.
