This is a genuine Kohler OEM latch assembly for the air cleaner cover. It secures the air cleaner cover, helping maintain a proper seal and keeping debris and dust out of the filter housing. The latch is used on higher-horsepower Kohler twin-cylinder engines. Note; need to buy two of these to make a set.
